OZIAS is better known as Uzziah or Azariah. His reign of 52 years was long and prosperous and from a religious point of view he is classed among the good kings. Ozias is recorded as having contracted leprosy during his reign, at which point he moved out of the royal palace to live in a separate house. When he withdrew from public affairs, his son Jotham acted as his  representative.
