ABOUT THE CHURCH |
The church walls are lined with panels from the old box pews, and with 13th century grave slabs. Under an archway in the sanctuary is an effigy of Lady Elizabeth de Ferrers, wife of Dafydd the last Prince of Gwynedd, who lived in Maes Mynan nearby. John Lloyd, rector of the parish is commemorated. He was a friend, translator and companion on his travels to Thomas Pennant. The church has two lych gates.
